Playa de las Mil Palmeras is today more commonly known as Mil Palmeras and is an area located on the Mediterranean coast, about 13 km south of Torrevieja and 5 km north of Pilar de la Horadada.
Being such a central location has made Mil Palmeras a very popular village both in summer and winter time.
Here you will find one of the coast’s best beaches, that have lifeguards during the high season from the Red Cross and local Pilar de la Horadada Ayuntamiento.
Alicante and San Javier airports are both easily reachable via the motorway between Alicante and Cartagena.
Also available are good bus links with Alicante and Cartagena that regularly pass through Mil Palmeras.
In Mil Palmeras there are shops, pharmacy, bars and restaurants and on Sundays there is a local market that offer fresh vegetables / fruits, clothes, shoes and much more.
If golf is of interest you have Villamartin Championship course, Las Ramblas, Campoamoar, Las Colinas and Lo Romero golf courses all only 10 minutes away by car from Mil Palmeras.
